What does it symbolize?
The Aguada culture was one of the most important pre-Columbian cultures in northwest Argentina. It developed during the middle period (approximately between 600 and 900 a.C) in the regions of Catamarca, La Rioja, San Juan, and other areas of the central Andes.
Its art and symbols suggest a strong connection to shamanic beliefs and religious rituals.
